Dr. Edward J. Putnam graduated in 1974 from the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine. In 1976, Dr. Putnam moved to Orange County where he spent several years as Chief of Staff at a large emergency clinic. Since then, he has been involved in general small animal practice in the Orange County area.
Sara has been our practice manager since 2006, and is also the practice manager at our sister clinic in Foothill Ranch (Foothill Animal Hospital). Sara became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager in 2013. She enjoys exercising and playing softball, spending time with her husband and daughters, and spoiling her two cats.
Allison has been at ACTRI since March 2004. She loves the relationships with the clients and the bonds with the pets she has built over the last 17 years. Allison is originally from northern California (Sacramento). Allison is currently owned by her 2 loveable male cats, Kylo and Rocket. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, listening to music and going on adventures with her husband.
Giselle has been part of the ACTRI team since July of 2019. She grew up in Austin, Tx surrounded by furry friends. She is the proud owner of 2 terrier mix dogs named Trico and Chikis, and a Turkish Angora kitty named Ori. She is always eager to learn new things and help others. In her free time, Giselle likes to read, play video games, binge the latest tv series in her pj's, play Dungeons and Dragons with her husband, learn new roller skate techniques, prep for the next anime convention, or do anything crafty!
Joe was born and raised in Southern California. He grew up surrounded by many furry friends and other pets. Dogs, cats, horses, chickens, pigs, goats, snakes, turtles, and birds to name a few! His infatuation and love for animals has put him on a career path that has now lasted for over 25 years! When not at work, Joe loves to spend his time at the beach surfing. He also enjoys hiking, camping, photography, and helping others in need. His best friend and current love of his life is Tegan. She is the sweetest black and white Staffordshire Terrier mix!
With a B.S. in mathematics and minors in accounting and statistics from UC Irvine, Jamie thought her path was set. In 2014, however, she rescued an overweight terrier mix named Savannah that was tactile sensitive, dog aggressive, and prone to panic attacks. After that, there was no turning back. Jamie spent hours poring through articles, speaking with professionals, and working with Savannah, loving every minute of it. She went on to complete her technician training at OC Veterinary Assistant School. She is currently preparing for the VTNE, working towards getting her RVT license. As for Savannah, she is at a healthy weight today. She has also built her confidence and has learned to trust. The two are now inseparable.
Jay has been a part of the ACTRI team since 2017. He and his fiancé have 4 dogs, Harley (shepherd mix), Oliver (rat terrier), Kaila ( chihuahua mix) and Musubi (Panchi.) They also have a cat named DaVinci. Jay is currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at CSUF.
Crystal grew up in the South Bay and went to school at UC Davis where she got her BS in Animal Science and Behavior. She has 2 pets, an Australian Shepherd named Cosmo and a bunny named Smores. During her free time, Crystal loves to draw, play video games, and attend comic conventions! Crystal loooves pitties! Pit bulls are her absolute favorite!
Danielle has been part of the ACTRI team since October of 2020. She is currently studying to obtain her BA in Business Management and would like to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has an adorable Havanese named Gucci. Gucci is her pride and joy! In her free time, Danielle likes to cook, bake, and horseback ride and do anything outdoors.
